Who Are We? (And why do we keep bugging you?)

2017-blog

January is the month of “new”: new year, new semester, new goals (new diets that may already be feeling “old”???).

So, what better time to take a fresh new look at American Christian Tours? Below, we’ve briefly answered just a few common questions teachers may have about ACTS.

So where can I travel with my group?

Anywhere.
Check out our Student Education Programs for some of the more popular ACTS destinations.  Just remember—just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean we can’t take you there.  (Unless, of course, you want to travel to the moon…or anywhere else outside of planet earth. But hey, everyone’s got some limitations!)

Who exactly would be leading my group on the road?

An ACTS Education Program Leader (EPL).
Our screened, licensed, well-trained EPLs will lead your education program on the road. Your EPL will be with your group the entire time. (Yes, that’s right. All. The. Time. Even staying with you at your evening hotel.)  Our leaders are selected for their background, education, personalities and experience with youth.

What do I have to do as the organizer?

Promote the trip. Be the liaison between your school and ACTS. Aid in decision-making, supervision, and discipline while on tour. That’s it.
Prior to your tour, ACTS provides you with customized itineraries and registration forms, support materials and plenty of advice. During your tour, your Education Program Leaders (EPLs) take care of all arrangements, provide on-going commentary, and in general run the trip.

So you can sit back and relax (as much as humanly possible on a motorcoach full of students, anyway!)

Am I able to customize the program?

Yes.
The program can be customized to reflect your educational focus, budget and age group.  Just let us know your goal or purpose for the program.

How much is it going to cost me?

Nothing (zip, zilch, zero).
As long as you have enough paying participants, your own participation will be complimentary.
Depending on how many paying participants you do have, you will be able to offer complimentary trips to chaperones as well.

Do your tours sacrifice excellence in order to remain Christian or do they sacrifice Christianity in order to remain excellent?

Neither!
Contrary to what our culture may believe, Christianity and excellence are not mutually exclusive. We understand that a commitment to Christ calls believers to greater excellence than the world around them. For it is not mere man to whom we are accountable, but the Almighty God. Our EPLs will not make concessions in excellence or conviction.
